Gliding and flying club
Vale Air & Soaring Club
Find lift. Fly further.
Vale Air & Soaring Club flies from a private grass airfield near Cirencester in the Cotswolds, combining glider training and cross-country soaring with powered flying, aircraft hire, aerotow and parachute aircraft operations.
It runs with the professional standards of a working airfield and the atmosphere of a traditional UK flying club: winch and aerotow launching, a members' clubhouse and café, youth aviation programmes and visiting pilot facilities.
The workspace shows nine aircraft, six membership types, a six-stage gliding training path and a season of club events managed as one connected operation.
